I certainly have no trouble loving mine. Goodnight Oppo, have every generation of S-Class ever
It's always been a good-looking beast.

This is the generation I grew up looking at. Beautiful. It's rivaled only by that silver beauty two generations previous.

The S-Class has always been forward-looking, usually featuring the newest technology before anyone else (except Volvo a couple times). Who doesn't doff their cap to the S-Class?

After the generation of the Burgundy Red car (I don't know the names) it was just a massive jump from each gen. Too quick of a jump. Also, the brown S-Class of the first photo is seriously business-mean-looking.

The burgundy car is the W126.
The first one is the 450SEL 6.9. Do some research on it. It was the precursor to the S65 AMG, the fastest sedan in the world, and a total hotrod/sleeper.

The 6.3?

I should do some research, as old AMGs are about the coolest old performance vehicles. Also, that character of ludicrously stupid horsepower is very attractive to me. To put it this way, I want a G65.

So do I. We are among the persecuted majority.

This is the only one that looks mildly good to me.

Sorry to hear that.

I've always felt the S-Class was the Camry of the luxury world.

Tell me of a balsier vehicle to put on sale?
No, the Hellcat is a drag strip machine, not a brick.

The only similarity it has to the Camry is that it is popular within its class. One car is famous for resting on its laurels. The other is famous for being the most innovative car in the world. For sheer advancement, even the A8 can't quite touch it. Yes, it physically hurt me to say that.

And the best part is, rich people buy the shit out of them.
Hater may be able to kill the Hummer, and the Excursion, but they will never kill the Gelandewagen.

Best looking modern S class.

Absolute favourite here.

If you want to know what's going to be in cars 20 years from now, drive an S-Class...

I'll take a few, please.

You could take any one of these today, put on a semi-decent business suit, and command instant respect anywhere you go. I want them all, but if I had to choose... Favorite is w111, least is w140.

Old AMG's are incredibly rare as AMG was entirely separate from Mercedes until '95 when the C36 was introduced. None of the above pictured are AMG, nor are the 6.3/6.9. AMG did their own version of them to be sure, and they were insane, but back then they were basically just a couple guys in a shed modding some cars.

BLASPHEMY!!! You should go pretend to be super rich, go to the dealer, then just sit in a new one. Then go sit in a 7. Then an A8. Then tell me it feels like a Ca.......Ca.......Cam....... Uggghhh. I can't even finish that word.

With the stacked headlights and a decidedly "dictator's car" look.
